* The number of worldwide email accounts in projected to rise from over 2.9 billion today to over 3.8 billion in 2014.
* Europe accounts for around 23% of all email users.
* The typical corporate user sends and receives around 110 messages daily and around 18% of email is spam.
* IM is becoming more popular, with around 2.4 billion IM accounts in 2010 rising to 3.5 billion in 2014.
* Similarly, social networking is growing, with 2.2 billion SN accounts in 2010 rising to 3.7 billion in 2014.
